Beginnings

This is just the beginning. At least I hope it's just the beginning! Even though the name of my blog is Gwendie's quilts, I'll post about other things, too. They'll probably be fabric related but maybe not.

I still have to take pictures of the blocks I've been making. I'm working on my version of The Circuit Rider's Quilt and I love it. I've done over 20 of the blocks so far and they're all hand appliqued. I've enjoyed working on this quilt more than I expected. I knew I'd enjoy it, but not as much as I have. I have a variety of fabrics that are mostly reds and greens. I've thrown in others just for fun and variety. I'm hoping to get some photos tomorrow.
